#102; Mr. Bubbles'sh

Mr. Bubbles'sh.

I'm lagging a full 24 hours for my entries. Yesterday i was blogging about the day before that, and today I'm blogging about yesterday. I'm going to try to chase up and sum up yesterday with today :)

Yesterday, Thi came over at about 7pm. I was supposedly hosting a movie marathon sort of thing at my place, but canceled because i figured everyone was either too tired from the beach or it was too last minute for them to make it. Hopefully next time, when i plan it better, and when i clean my house, it'll be movies here :).

We had a little girls night in - watching movies and ending off with a nice chit chat. We started off watching Wall-E, but then changed half an hour in to The Happening. Even though we managed to sit through the whole entire 2 hours of The Happening, we left my lounge room with mega "WTF" looks plastered on our faces. What the hell was The Happening seriously on about? =__="

After pigging out during the movie we headed up to my room with our cup filled of lemonade (lemonade gets me high, mind you 8-)), and i tried to show her the improvements i have made to my room. (i.e. the sections that i have cleaned). That girl has such high expectations of me! So my room isn't the cleanest thing in the world, but you should've known better then to expect a full-tidy, packaged room. Yes, i still have things in bags and boxes from moving 4 months ago. T_T"

So we got over the fact that despite i managed to unpack all my clothes and put them where they were supposed to go - the wardrobe, and Thi failed to appreciate my efforts, we moved on from that topic and just drifted on to ramble about pointless nothings on my bed. One thing led to another and we had a pillow fight, followed by a little conversation that went somethign like this (we were talking about MSN nicknames i think):

Me: What the heck is "Mr. BubbleSH" anyway? (emphasises the "sh" with braces)
Thi: HAHAHA, Mr. Bubbles'sh is my fish. (pause) OH SH*T. I didn't feed Mr. Bubbles'sh!!! I didn't feed him for two days Shocked.
Me: HAHAHAHHAHA.

Not long after our hilarious outbreak, Thi left and i did a bit of cleaning before i headed online to chat and blog about the beach.

Speaking of blogging, I managed to get Tu into blogging :D. I'm fairly proud of myself, considerign he always tells me how i snob him for blogging, and now he can't use that excuse of me anymore because he blogs too. I've linked him up, if you want to visit him blog its over there --->

Today ------------

Today was a fairly blissful day up until about 530. I woke up at about 230 dieing from what felt like a heat stroke, only to realise that by 530 i was goign to die on my toilet seat and not from the heat. I was struck with a sudden case of diarreah.
Actually, i was having trouble figuring out if it was diarreah or simply a case of very bad period pain mixed with continual bowel movement. None the less, i should really stop informing you about my toilet visits shouldn't i?

That's about it really. I took two panadol's because panadol's magically solve everything, and slept on my horrible pain T_T. Woke up at 7 fine, had dinner and then showered before i ended up here watching the first episode of Lipstick Jungle. Oh Thi, if you're reading this, i FINALLY finished Lipstick Jungle the book! I can return it to Eileen now 8-). ROFL.

School's tomorrow! I'm sure i speak for the majority of year 11's rolling into year 12 that i'm scared, and time is seriously goign by too fast! I'm not prepared to start my HSC course,i don't even know if i bring my old books tomorrow or start fresh! Uggh, whatever! I'm dreading triple sport in the mornign the most though. I haven't exercised for the past 4 weeks (except those 10 minutes at the beach where i was chasign Jason for revenge), so ughhhhhhhhhhh.

I'm going to leave off with a few song recommendations :). Jess told me to listen to this band called The Mission In Motion and I'm really liking We Take This To The Night at the moment. Chris also got m e into Katy Perry's Thinking Of You, which i'm also really enjoying. Hope you enjoy these two songs too :) ~

Nights for now!

#101; Bondi beach baby!

Bondi beach baby!

I spent the whole day at the beach yesterday with my lovely lovely Canley's :) The first beach visit of the year for me! It was such an awesome day!! Heaps of fun, lots of catching up. Crazy chats, random acts of insanity, the whole lot that i love about each and every one of them :)

It started with a bright and sunny morning at 730am. I attempted to wake Shain up, only to realise after calling him 6 times in a row, that he was already awake and that in the process of waking him up, i woke up. Got ready and all the rest, and headed for Cabra Station at about 840.
Arrived and greeted everyone with great big hugs :). Thi was doing this thing where she wasn't letting anyone buy tickets until the last minute JUST for the sake of seeing how stressed we can all get. ROFL! It didn't really go as planned, i wrecked it because i knew i would go nuts if i had to grab my ticket in a rush. So everyone else bought their tickets despite Thi's efforts x). We ended up missing the train anyway, and waited until 920 before we actually left for Bondi.

We hogged the WHOLE bottom of the last carriage and it was AWESOME. We were so loud, we were mental! LOL. There were people singing and playing the guitar. People taking luvos. People playing cards. People chatting. Everything x). It was such a great reunion!
There was at one point, a laugh executed by Kim, ROFL, that was such a funny laugh itself that THI decided to laugh at Kim's laugh, and, being the only person to realise why Kim & Thi was in hysterics, I cracked up as well. LOL. It was laughter all the way x). Took a few pictures and then before you knew it, we were arguing about whether to get off at Central or Town Hall. So, with all the confusion and Shain refusing to pick up his phone, Shain, Jess, Chris and a few others got off at Central, while the majority of us got off at Bondi. We met up anyway and headed for the bus to the beach!

Got off and first thing was this MEGA group of asians walking down the main road of Bondi Beach. It was actually quite hilarious watching people's reactions LOL. We all headed for maccas brekky, and then towards the beach to eat and kick start our day!
Took us girlys a while to get comfortable in our little bits of clothing, while the guys had no problems taking off their tops and showing us their effort-full of abs x). Grabbed an eyefull and then headed for the WATER! It was me, jess (gligich) and jess (wong). LOL. We originally didn't want to go in the water, but we gradually gave in to peer pressure and started jumping waves and swallowing large amounts of salt water within minutes.

The water wasn't that cold, and jumping waves was idiotically awesome LOL. we probably spent an hour or more just jumping waves like little kids who haven't seen such lovely water in their whole life! And as a result, both my lovely jess's got the pleasure to view my fabby drowning experiences. I was literally being swallowed by waves. No jokes. Water up my nose, water down my throat, water in my eyes - but it was all worth the fun :)

So after a longgggg time in the water, stinging faces, horrible tasting saliva and salty noses, we headed back to our group and couldn't believe how large our group was! LOL. Layed down and did some tanning for about an hour or so. Read a bit and listened to my iPod while tanning. Jason and stuff arrived, and soon after we headed back for the water again. Only this time Shain also had the pleasure of watching me drown. And i got to witness Thi's fear of waves despite how good of a swimmer she is. Wait, that was when we first entered the water. But yeah, the water was heaps cold this time! I was being attacked by the Gligich and Wong AS WELL AS the waves.

I headed back to shore not long after because they were going too far into the water then i was comfortable with T_T. (I was drowning with my eyes open okay! not fun Sad) Thi managed to give matthew a big scratch and wattey a few scratches as well along the way of freaking out over a wave LOL. Gee, i thought i was the one scared of water? But i must admit, it probably is heaps hilarious to see me sink under a wave and then come back up after its gone with my eyes all squished up and a mouth full of water.

Gligich, Wong and I headed for maccas to grab water for a reasonable price and to drain teh salt away from our throats. We grabbed an apple pie and on the way back to the beach these you aussies guys (pretty good looking, might i add) was a bit tipsy at this restaurant next to maccas. The little encounter went a bit like this:

Guy: Hey! Want a drink? (holds up a cup of beer)
(Gligich and Wong keep walking)
Me: I'm good (pause) thank you!
(Gligich and Wong crack up)

LOLL. I don't think they expected me to reply to him because he was clearly too drunk to realise what he was saying, but i replied anyway. LOL. It was a spur of the moment. We headed back to our area and just chatted and hung around. The guys played some footy and then volleyball while the girls chatted and luvo'd like crazy.

We got a group photo taken in time before Linda left and then got an all girl's photo since girls love the camera more then guys. Then there was just more chatting, more photos and a whole lot of funny moments! INCLUDING lots of ass-flashing by guys. T_T. I am deeply horrified, but what can i say? It's too late now to try to divert my eyes. I am permanently scarred. (COUGHDARRENPETERLAMCOUGH) Thanks.

We spent a while just burying the guys and making faces on the sand for them LOL. Minh was pregnant, Phillip had a can of spray tan where it shouldn't of been, and Vincent Po was given boobies. What followed (or what had already happened before) was a series of sand-throwing-in-guys-shorts incidents followed by  Jonothan getting ambushed and every inch of his lower half sanded and Jason attacking my boobs with sand, and me chasing him for 10 minutes straight. Sand is so hard to run in! >=@

The guys then went on to do this thing where Peter kneeled behind the victim and his accomplice (Kit or Darren) would push the victim over Peter so they would fall down. Darren got me the first time, Kit failed the second time. Because he failed and i bragged about it, he decided to tackle me T_T. And after enjoying the first tackle, he decided to tackle me a second time not long after. Sand in your ears is so not cool! I'll get you back one day Kit!

After what seemed to be hours that flew by, people started to get time conscious in order to meet strict asian-mum curfews. We headed home after Thi took her sweet time in the change rooms. We got the peak hour trains which were horrible, but along the way i got to witness Kim and Lisa tease John's boobs, while Jade was trying to guess his Bra size. LOL. Classic :)

Headed home in a rush, grabbed a taxi and then ran up my street and got home full of sweat. Showered, shampoo'd my hair twice (how much sand was there man!) and then ate and slept. Woke up at 12am and chatted and movie'd up until 6am before i slept and woke up at 2pm today.

Here are the photos, enjoy!

The perfect shot for Cathy to mock me about my "chinese eyes"!

Everyone tanning; It's not that hard to find me - I have the shortest legs.

We all reckon that girl on the board looks like an image of Lisa with her boob exposed, hahaha x) ~

Jono ambushed by the guys, he couldn't even get up. ROFL.

The aftermath. ROFLMAO.

Matt's belly face :) ~

Vincent grew boobies!

Group photooo :). Asian much?

The girlys ~

The process of making a girls-only pyramid is quite painful,
and time consuming...

Jenny and Peter taking a photo of us...

.. and Thi taking a photo of them x) ~

With my lovely Kimmy, and sidetracked x( ~

And finally.....

The evil wave that SWALLOWED me! ~

That's all for now! Thi came over at about 7pm today, but more about that tomorrow when i don't have 5 msn convos flashing like crazy.

takecare!

#100; "Sheh kit"

"Sheh kit."

My 100th entry and it's dedicated to how speechles i am about Metro Station's performance on Australian Idol last night. I missed the live show, but i managed to youtube it just then. If you missed it too, or want to watch it again, here's a horrendus replay/reminder:

"Sheh sheh, sheh sheh sheh kit"

It couldn't of been more horrible then that. So, in trying to defend them i youtube'd some more of them from their concert on October 4th at Roundhouse, University New South Wales (in which i was suppose to go to until they sold out >_>). From the variety of clips i watched, i found out one good thing and one bad thing.

Good thing: It wasn't half as bad as i thought it would be. I've been told how horrendus and crappy the atmosphere was - it did not appear that way in the clips. I was also told that they were a aggro and not that great live - i didn't really see that either.

Bad thing: "Shake it" still sounded like "sheh sheh, sheh sheh sheh kit". Trace and the other vocalist also sounded like they were constantly running out of breath; which made the sounds a notch crappier then the produced version in the album.

Compare for yourselves :)

Overall i think they weren't that bad. I would still go and see them if they do come back in February next year. I think concerts do depend on the atmosphere, so lets hope that despite how crap people are saying they sound, the atmosphere will be good. Shake it? No, it's sheh kit.

For the mean time, thats my whinge of the day. How do you think their performance went?

Sheh kit,
C.

#99; The Weirdest Thing

The Weirdest Thing.

I've stated before that i have this habit for reading news online via ninemsn because i automatically get updates from them through my hotmail account. I haven't checked my emails for about 10 days, and that added up to 27 emails from ninemsn news, so i decided i'd go through all of them today.
Out of all the articles i read, i found this one the most interesting, i couldn't of agreed to it more: Aussie men happiest having sex: index

I can already mentally vision all the guys reading this right now frantically clicking on that link. You can never go wrong with statistics, especially ones that are totally agreeable. I am proud to say that, based on that index, i am:
- part of all the men and women who include eating comfort food (such as chocolates) in the top 10 list of what makes me happy, and;
- part of the 30% of women who enjoy shopping, and;
- part of the 36% of women who enjoy shopping for others

Anyway, that wasn't reallly the main point. The weirdest thing of all was this advertisement that was running on the right side of screen in that webpage. It was this guy advertising for a company, and in the process of advertising, his tactic was to grab my attention - and that he did. He was virtually knocking on my screen, shaking his handheld noticeboard, pointing at it, and then smiling at me, suggesting i should click on it. It looks so real, i had to take screen shots of him.

I was thinking about blurrign his face,
but then that'd take the realness out of it.

Anyway, besides all that boring stuff, i have put Lady Gaga's "The Fame" album on repeat ever since 3pm. I am slowly falling in love with Paparazzi, Eh Eh (Nothing I Can Say) and Poker Face. She is absolutely a fabby artist.

I've got a family outing tomorrow supposedly to Jamberoo, but i think that's been cancelled and changed to a BBQ with my parents and their friends, making me unable to attend Cathy Vu's birthday party & Jason's aquatic centre outing. So sorry!

I'm going to leave with a chunk of the lyrics to Lady Gaga's Paparazzi.

"'Cause you know that baby I, I'm your biggest fan.
I'll follow you until you love me, papa-paparazzi"
- Lady Gaga

Tata for now.

#98; Survey.

I need your help :)

I'm on the quest for a more thorough understanding of myself and my behaviours. In particular, i would like to understand the difference between the way I'm perceived by others and the way i portray myself. This really means a lot to me, and would help me adjust myself for the better.

Take this as another one of my experiments - I'm the control, and your voices and opinions will be what i will be making comparisons with. The end result would be a more extensive definition of Chrissy.

I'd like you to help me answer a few questions with all honesty. There will be 5 questions in total, and it should take about 10 minutes of your time. Your help would be much appreciated.

As an extra request, I would also like all comments to be posted as 'Anonymous'. All comments will be deleted after i've read them for privacy purposes.

Question 1:
What is your definition of 'Chrissy'? (i.e. What reminds you of me?)

Question 2:
What do you think is my best quality and why?

Question 3:
What do you think is my worse quality and why?

Question 4:
Where do you see me five years from now?

Question 5:
If there was one thing you'd like to change about me, what would it be?

Thank you very much!

#97; Stephen Michael Kane

Stephen Michael Kane.

This is just a notice to myself to be on the look out for this guy in any upcoming movies/tv shows/music videos/anything that shows up on google.

He had a cameo appearance in the second last episode of Skins Season 2 (episode 9: Cassie) and I've been drooling over  him since. He played Adam, the guy that took Cassie in after she fled to New York City because of the fear of people leaving her. And here's a screen shot because i couldn't find a very decent picture of him from google:

---- 5 minutes later ----
Okay, so i can't even screen shoot his face. Fabby. I'll just leave you with his myspace, you can do the rest of the PI stuff yourself. Wink
Stephen Michael Kane

----
On a different note, I watched Another Cinderella Story today, starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley.

The cover image there isn't really quite convincing, but I can tell you for sure Selena Gomez appears much more prettier on screen then there.
Quite the fairytale movie. I actually watched the end half of it 2 days ago twen i walked pass the lounge room and got sucked into it. I finally found the time to re-watch the thing head-to-toe today and it got a bit too cliche fairytale`ish, but it was nice.
It was worth the hour and a bit, but the leading actor wasn't that much of a perve for the eye. In fact, he seemed quite pedophilic to play the role of Mary's (Selena's character) love interest. After some googling, i proved myself right. He is indeed 10 years older then her - he is 26, while she is 16. Wrong much? And it doesn't help that Selena has a natural little baby face.
Anyway, that's not the point. I wanted to quote one of the lines from Mary's character, it really hit me hard. She said this after she supposedly caught Joey Parker (Drew Seeley) cheating on her, and the rest you should really watch yourself, but here goes:

"You know what really sucks about falling for a guy you know you're not right for? You fall anyway because you think he might turn out to be different"
- Mary from Another Cinderella Story

And just a tip on that movie before i leave: Watch once, and once only.

TTFN.

C.

I'm your average 16 year old trying to find a proper definition of herself, her surroundings, and her future. In a conventional society, Christina would be my name, but ideally, Chrissy is what i prefer. An aspiring fashion designer and a loud, proud capircorn, making the 3rd of January my special day.

There are many joys in life, and my life wouldn't be the way it is without my friends, my family, my sewing machine, myspace, music, endless live gigs/concerts, Jiro Wang, Boys Like Girls, The Getaway Plan, Automatic Loveletter, We The Kings, All Time Low and In Fiction.
The downside to it is the two-faced, fake and selfish people, alongside bugs, insects, diary products and being the owner of an empty wallet and low-battery phone.

That's all for now,
Enjoy your stay! :)
